A letter from Gary & Christi:
Exploring, searching, playing, discovering and learning - that's what Christi and I have
been up to since meeting at Glacier National Park, Montana in the summer of 1987.
Since that time our passion for life has led us to living and teaching in Virginia, The
Philippines, Thailand, and finally after the birth of our son, back to good old Upstate New
York.
I landed a teaching job in the B'ville school district while Christi was busy being a stay at
home Mom with Casey and our newly arrived daughter Calli. It only took a few trips with
the kids to play at Chuck E. Cheeses and McDonald's before we realized there's got to
be a better way.
What if there was a place where parents could pay one fee and their kids could play all
day using more imaginative and creative play with NO TOKEN machines, loud noises and
marginal food? A place where adults could relax and chat while having a quality bite to
eat or drink while watching their kids? A place that offered play groups led by certified
teachers (us!) and hosted the best no-hassle birthday parties ever? Christi and I are
very appreciative and fortunate that KidzClub will allow us a venue to express our talents
and creativity to deliver just that.
Our love for exploring, searching, playing, discovering and learning has led us to opening
KidzClub, a place where kids can come and join us in doing the same. We hope to see
you soon!
