1. What happens during a two hour party?
The children will have use of the play space for the first part of the party, then
move into the party room for pizza, cake and presents. We work with you on
the time. The less time needed in the party room, the more time the children
can play.
2. Is the playtime structured?
No, the children are free to play as they wish. We will check with the birthday
parent and birthday child to see if they would like to do tattoos, dance party
and birthday parade. If you have a special request for an activity just let us
know, and we will do all we can to accommodate you.
3. Are there special activities for a themed party?
When appropriate we will do a theme related activity. For the princess party
we will do nails, sparkles, princess tattoos and a fashion show. We can also
put beads out for children to make a necklace or bracelet with if you wish. For
the pirate party everyone gets a pirate scarf, pirate tattoos, and a face
painted beard. We always discuss all activities beforehand, and we will work
with you on any ideas or requests you may have.
4. What if I don’t have 15 children, is there a discount?
No, due to the fact that we offer private parties, we cannot offer a discount or
"per child" rate. (we have "per child" rates for during hours parties only).
5. How much pizza come with package #1 and #2?
Each child gets a slice of pizza.
6. Can I order food for adults?
Yes, you can order extra pizzas, salad, snacks, coffee and 2 liter bottles of
soda for adults.
7. Is there a limit on the number of adult guests?
At this point there isn’t. We have a large facility and can accommodate large
parties. However, if you are having a large party with lots of adult guests it’s
best to book the last party of the day. Many times adults like to stay in the
caféarea instead of going into the party room. If there is no party booked after
yours, adults can remain in the café. Otherwise, all party guests need to be in
the party room for the last 20 minutes of the party to allow us to tidy up for the
following party.
8. Do parties overlap at all?
We book our parties back to back. Each party will have exclusive use of the
play space, café and party room. As one party is finishing up in the party
room, the next party’s guests will be arriving. The arriving guests will hang
their coats and head to the front of the café, away from the party room, and
can enter the play space. The party room guests will be getting their coats
and shoes and heading out the door which is right by the party room.
9. Can we bring in outside food and drink?
Yes, but please supply all paper products that your guests will need. Any
outside food needs to be easily cleaned up and packed away. This will need
to be done 20 minutes early so we can prepare for the following party. Most
guests put the food in the cafe for adults to nibble on while the kids are
playing, then everyone moves into the party room for cake and presents.
10. Do you supply ice?
We do not have an ice maker, but you can bring your own ice and put it in the
freezer.
11. How early should I arrive?
No more than 10 minutes prior to your start time. We will be setting everything
up for you, and often will be getting the café and play space ready for the next
party. 10 minutes will give you time to get settled and ready to greet your
guests.
12. What happens if I arrive late to the party?
There is not much that can be done. Our parties are booked back to back
and have to run on time. It's important to make sure that you and your guests
have good directions to KidzClub.
